MEET THE ARTISTS
Jerry and Faith McCullough are missionaries who worked in Brussels, Belgium, illustrating textbooks for pastors and lay persons. They also illustrated a series of Bible story comic books: David, Gideon, Esther, and The Christmas Story.
The Heroes of the Faith Comic Series is still in circulation, with well over 100,000 copies distributed in over 27 languages. In April of 2003, Global University invited the McCulloughs to join forces with them again to continue the comic book Bible story series they began in Belgium in 1988.
MEET THE WRITER
Ron Barefield is a missionary who has served in Brussels, Belgium and the United States. While in Belgium, he teamed up with Jerry and Faith McCullough to create the Heroes of the Faith comic book series.
